Healthy food is the basis of a healthy lifestyle. Your supplements are a great way to supplement your nutrition plan.
Supplements can be used in different ways. You can take them for maintenance (normal doses), or for making up for a severe deficiency (through hyper dose), and finally in a therapeutic way (for example a week of magnesium for an injury).
SUPS has taken The Mom Plan to a solid maintenance level, and also to make up for minor deficiencies. We do not use hyper doses. In our Rise, we do use 100%-plus dosages. SUPS has looked at the absorption rate of each vitamin, and a good value (sometimes above 100%) is needed to compensate for minor deficiencies. The Recommended Daily Allowances are values determined with moderate to normal activity. The challenges presented by certain phases of life (motherhood, pregnancy, and lactation) require more than the RDAs, many agree. We, therefore, utilize orthomolecular insights in this regard. Vitamins A, D, E, and K cannot be absorbed in water and can accumulate in the body. You want to prevent that. You have to be careful with that, but SUPS remains with the D well below all standards. And they use the safe form which makes stacking less dangerous.
The other vitamins, including B12, are water-soluble, and you pee out a surplus. But, besides that, vitamin B12 is an oddity. You only absorb a small percentage of vitamin B12 from supplementation. And therefore a 100% value in a supplement is not realistic. The RDA is determined based on what you absorb. That’s why many supplements have a very high value of B12.
The fairly high dose of vitamin B1 in this supplement is a conscious choice. B1 is known in orthomolecular teaching to optimally prepare your cells for other micronutrients. But B1 is also known for its powerful effect in supporting mental resistance.

The iodine we chose for RISE supports the functioning of your thyroid. It is so important for a woman to have a healthy thyroid. The main function of the thyroid and thyroid hormone is metabolism and growth. If the metabolism is increased by the thyroid hormone then this affects very many processes and functions, for example, heart rate, blood flow, body temperature, bowel function, hydration, but also mental functions. If this gland does not work properly (is out of balance) it causes a wide variety of complaints and symptoms
