SUPS is an Amsterdam brand. Our mission is to empower women from within in a simple and powerful way.

THE PREGG PLAN

MOM

In the Mom Plan bundle, we chose supplements for mothers to fill the ‘gap’ between an average diet and the actual dietary needs of moms with busy and demanding lifestyles. “Being a mom has challenged and changed me in many ways. I love it, but it is not always easy, mentally or physically. I also did not always have the right tools to help me in those struggles.”

Nothing can change the sleepless nights and the intense care a baby needs. All of that hit me pretty hard. I noticed then that the lifestyle choices I had made before I became a mother were no longer appropriate. Taking care of myself, in every possible way, was the only way to regain vitality and balance.

That is why we developed the SUPS concept and supplements around the theme of self-care.

I am now the proud mother of four sons. I started researching ‘motherhood’ after the birth of my first son (2007). Although I was very happy as a mother, I often felt overwhelmed in that role. I was struck by the fact that the struggles that mothers face were not being discussed openly and honestly by anyone.

In 2019, I combined my knowledge and experience in the fields of motherhood, entrepreneurship and nutrition, and created SUPS. In January 2020, we marketed the first bundles, ‘The MOM Plan’ and ‘The PREGG Plan’.

Meanwhile, I have grown as an entrepreneur, mother and wife. As have my children. My youngest son is now seven years old and the eldest is an adolescent. This changing family landscape brings new challenges. I may get to sleep all night with no interruptions more often, but it’s true what they say: ‘little kids, little problems; big kids, big problems. My needs have also changed along with my family. That is why I have now also developed a third bundle, ‘MY BUNDLE’. This plan is designed to fulfil the needs of women, with or without (older) children and other challenges daily life throws at them.
